BB's house swap

02/08/2007

It was all change again in the Big Brother house last night, with the four members of the halfway house told that they were all to become official housemates.

But Amy, Jonty and long-term contestants Liam and Ziggy were given just minutes to decide who would take their place after being told that they would be switching places with four of the residents in the main house.

Unaware that their deliberations were being watched by their fellow contestants on a giant plasma screen, the four quickly opted to put self-confessed white witch practitioner David back into the half-way house he had come from.

"Not that I've got anything against him, but he's got a little bit of an over-confident thing going on," remarked Jonty, with Amy agreeing that he was her "gut choice".

The four then decide that original halfway house members Kara-Louise and Shanessa should also go back in, before trying to decide which original contestant to take out of the main house in order to make up the numbers.

Pink-haired Tracey was subsequently chosen to get the boot, with Liam insisting that she was the most likely to survive if put up for eviction.

"We know that the crowd like her," he said.

"Sorry to the rest, but you've gotta understand that we've all been here together for ages," Liam added, revealing his apparent desire to keep life in the Big Brother house how it had been before the arrival of the strangers from the halfway house.

However Tracey was less than impressed by the decision, as were Kara-Louise and Jonty, who burst into tears on hearing that they were being sent back to their former abode.

Meanwhile other housemates seem equally as frustrated with the switch.
Speaking to Carole in the kitchen following the swap, Gerry revealed that he didn’t trust Amy.

"No, I don't," Carole agreed.
