'Guru Ziggy' immune from public vote
13/08/2007
Big Brother contestant Ziggy has been given immunity ahead of this week's public vote after being ordained a 'guru'.
Last night Ziggy was deemed to be the guru of the task which focused on self-improvement of the mind and has now achieved heightened status.
Today, housemates must prove themselves able to improve their body physically by tackling an assault course in the garden.
They will then be allowed to 'fine tune' their bodies for the rest of the day before taking on the monkey bars, balance beam and stepping tyres once again.
If housemates manage to improve their time by ten per cent they pass the task; the person who slashes their time the most will be ordained the guru.
There are harsh penalties for housemates who make a mistake, with 30-second penalties added to the overall time for each obstacle which is not completed correctly.
As Amanda and Sam are now considered as one housemate, they must take on the course together.
Because Ziggy is now a 'guru housemate' he can sit out of the physical task and watch wisely from the guru nest.
