Campbell-Brown claims fourth sprint gold for Jamaica
21/08/2008
Veronica Campbell-Brown secured Jamaica's fourth sprint gold medal of the Beijing Olympics with victory in the women's 200m.
Campbell-Brown ran a personal best time of 21.74 secs, beating American Allyson Felix (21.93 secs) into the silver medal position.
Jamaican team-mate Kerron Stewart claimed the bronze in 22.00 secs.
Campbell-Brown's victory means Jamaica completed a clean sweep of the sprint gold medals in both the men's and women's track events.
Shelley-Ann Fraser won the women's 100m, while Usain Bolt yesterday broke his second world record of the Games with victory in the 200m - four days after claiming gold and another record in the 100m.
