Hatton ready for big fight
26/05/2006
Ricky Hatton will travel to Las Vegas to watch Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales and hopes to set up a fight with the winner.
Hatton beat Luis Collazo earlier in the month but Castillo and Corrales claim to have been unimpressed by the Hitman's performance.
The Mancunian boxer's co-promoter Dennis Hobson said that they would travel to watch the match and that a fight against the winner would be the fight of the year.
He said: "Let's be realistic. Castillo, or Corrales if he wins, versus Ricky is a bigger fight than Castillo or Corrales v Cotto.
"With the greatest respect to Cotto, he isn't in Ricky's league in terms of international recognition."
Hobson added: "Ricky is a three-time, two division world champion, a Ring magazine champion and the winner of every fighter of the year award going."
Castillo and Corrales will fight on June 4th and Hatton hopes that his trip to the USA will allow him to arrange his biggest fight to date
