Flintoff leads Lancashire to crushing win over Scots

Andrew Flintoff smashed an unbeaten 27 off 23 balls as Lancashire beat Scotland by eight wickets at Old Trafford in the Friends Provident Trophy.
The England all-rounder whacked four boundaries and hit the winning runs with a towering six, as Lancashire passed their target of 73 in 11.5 overs.
Earlier, Tom Smith took 3-14 and James Anderson finished with 2-19 to help bowl out the Scots in 37 overs.
Elsewhere, Andrew Strauss made 33 in Middlesex's win over Kent by six runs by the Duckworth-Lewis method at Lord's.
Strauss and Billy Godleman (43) put on a second wicket stand of 59, before the England batsman was dismissed by Ryan McLaren in the home side's innings of 177.
In reply Kent were skittled out for 166 with Martin van Jaarsveld top-scoring with 53, Tim Murtagh did the damage with 4-29.
Elsewhere, Essex beat Sussex by 14 runs by the Duckworth-Lewis method thanks to a half-century from Ravi Bopara.
Bopara made 59 while Ryan ten Doeschate hit 61 and Grant Flower reached 75 as the hosts posted 291-8.
Sussex were 141-6 when the rain came down with wicket-keeper Matt Prior reaching 50.
Elsewhere, England prospect Adil Rashid made an unbeaten 41 to lead Yorkshire to a 25-run win over Derbyshire at Headingley Carnegie.
Rashid top-scored for the home side in their total of 119-6 in a game reduced to 24 overs per side.
Derbyshire were skittled out for a paltry 94 in reply, with Anthony McGrath taking 3-16 from his four overs.
Elsewhere, Northamptonshire beat Warwickshire by four wickets thanks a century from Rob White, and Nottinghamshire beat Ireland by 56 runs.
Gloucestershire reached 174-4 in their clash with Glamorgan at Bristol before the game was abandoned due to heavy rain.
Rain also played spoilsport in Worcestershire's match with Somerset at New Road with the hosts on 154-8.
