Opener Joe Denly continued his sparkling form with 50 off 46 balls while skipper Robert Key made 40 from 23 deliveries.

Elsewhere, Middlesex continued their unbeaten run after beating Surrey by five wickets at Lord's.

After being put into bat, the Brown Caps posted 141-7 with James Benning top-scoring with 50.

The win keeps Middlesex top of the South Division while Surrey languish in fifth place.
