25/11/2008
Police have today arrested three men on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to murder in connection with the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl in north-east London in 1999.
Tulay Goren was reported missing by friends and family on January 22nd 1999. She was last seen 15 days previously in the Woodford Green area of London.
Three men, aged 48, 41 and 55, were arrested at an address in east London on Tuesday.
A statement from the Metropolitan police released today said the men were currently being questioned at east London police stations.
Between January and September 1999, three men and a woman were arrested in connection with the investigation. All were later bailed and no further action was taken.
Police claim that their investigation into Tulay's disappearance has always remained open and confirmed her body has never been discovered.
