Bolton festival 'will unleash creativity of youth'

A youth arts festival has been launched in Bolton and is set to run for a fortnight.
The Fusion youth arts festival will provide activities at various locations in Bolton for young people interested in acting, music and other types of performance.
The event will include a Movie Makers workshop and an On Top of the World music project, reports the Bolton Evening News.
Councillor Ismail Ibrahim said that the festival will provide opportunities for young people to "unleash their creativity".
Mindee Hutchinson, from Bolton Council Arts and Community Services, told the newspaper: "We want to raise the profile of youth arts in the town and encourage more children and teenagers to take up the activities available in Bolton."
As part of the festival, would-be actors will have to the chance to create a play in two days.
Young thespians will be able to perform their play at the Bolton Festival open-air show, according to Bolton Life.
