Circus Ronaldo arrives in Manchester

A popular circus returns to Platt Fields Park, Manchester, this weekend and is predicted to attract a sell-out crowd.
Circus Ronaldo, which first came to the city in 2003, begins on Friday July 14th and runs until Monday July 17th, presenting a show that with acrobatics, fire and fun.
Performed by the Ronaldo brothers, the show involves classic circus-theatre, including the spinning of giant pizza dough, as the siblings try their luck at becoming pizza chefs.
The event is in collaboration with the Contact Theatre and tickets can be purchased at the Contact's box office.
Adults will be charged £12 and concessions cost £6 for what will be a fun event for all of the family.
Performances run from 20:00 BST to 21.45 BST throughout the weekend.
Circus Ronaldo, which originates from the province of Flanders, made its first overseas appearance in 1998 at the Mime Festival.
