Jamie T to play in Arndale Centre
12/01/2007
South London hipster Jamie T is to play at Virgin Megastores in the Arndale Centre Manchester next week.
The singing, rapping, acoustic bass playing troubadour will be performing his unique brand of observational ditties to promote new single Calm Down Dearest.
Described by the NME as a "one man Arctic Monkeys", it's been a rollercoaster year for the young man who has seen his MySpace page "deluged" with fans.
Easier.com states that the songwriter has become an internet phenomenon, with surfers keen to get a taste of his "grimy beats and gritty urban imagery".
The event is wristband entrance only, which are available on a first come first served basis for personal callers from 09:00 on Monday January 15th.
Fans can catch Jamie T's live performance on Tuesday 16th January, with the Calm Down Dearest single scheduled for release the day before.
