Kylie reschedules cancelled MEN concerts

16/01/2007

Kylie Minogue has announced new dates for two concerts that were cancelled after she fell ill with a "moderately severe" respiratory tract infection.

Two performances at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th were cancelled after doctors said she must rest.

The gigs have been rescheduled for Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd of this month and tickets for the original dates will remain valid.

Fans unable to attend the rearranged concerts should apply for a refund from where they purchased the tickets before January 19th.

Kylie is still expected to appear, as planned, on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Her performance at the arena on Saturday was curtailed after 40 minutes after she complained of a cold.

The Australian singer has already played several dates at the Wembley Arena as part of the British leg of her Showgirl Homecoming Tour, which began at the end of last year.

Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005 and has since undergone surgery and chemotherapy.
