Magic Numbers to perform Manchester street-gig
19/07/2006
Popular band The Magic Numbers are to play a special gig in Manchester later this month.
As part of T-Mobile's Street Gigs, where bands play in obscure venues across the country, the four-piece will perform at Manchester Bingo Hall on Friday July 28th.
Admission to the event is strictly ticket-only and anyone wishing to attend must register on the T-Mobile website before July 24th for a chance to be invited.
The one-off gig will see the New Century Casino revamped with a Las Vegas-style interior, while invitees will be issued with special casino chips to spend on the night.
The T-Mobile series has previously seen US band, The Stokes, play at the National History Museum in London and The Streets play the Lighthouse on the Thames.
Those invited to the events are notified via text message and can win prizes related to band they see by writing a review of the event.
