Urbis displays its creative side
07/06/2006
Manchester creative agency, Dinosaur, has said the chance to team up with a leading city museum was an opportunity "too good to miss".
Mark Beaumont, creative director at Dinosaur, said his company was "thrilled to have won such a brilliant account" with the city life museum, Urbis.
Dinosaur has been given the task of designing a new creative campaign that will attract visitors to the Urbis this summer.
With an emphasis on young people and families, Dinosaur has created a number of advertisements that will appear around the city over the coming months, aiming to attract people to various activities and events.
Caroline Ashworth, marketing and communications manager at Urbis, said: "There is no other place in the country like Urbis and we wanted to show the innovative nature of what we do in a new, fun and compelling way that in essence conveys something of the spirit of Manchester.
"Dinosaur has captured this in a wonderfully imaginative way that we think will appeal to existing visitors and grab the attention of others who might marvel at the beauty of our building but have still to take a step inside."
A forthcoming event at Urbis is Architecture Week, which takes place between June 17th and 24th.
