Carvalho "would love" to work with 'special one' again
10/06/2008
Ricardo Carvalho has put his future at Chelsea in doubt after revealing that he would love to link up with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
The centre-back indicated that he had would wait until after Euro 2008 to discuss his future with Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon, but admitted he would relish the chance to re-join Mourinho who has recently being appointed manager of Internazionale.
"I would love to be coached by Mourinho again," said Carvalho.
"The majority of the trophies I have won were won with Mourinho," he explained.
The defender won the Champions League with Porto and Mourinho, joining Chelsea in 2004 for nearly £20 million.
But Carvalho said that he was committed to Chelsea and would not speculate about his future as his focus was with Portugal's challenge for Euro 2008.
"I have a contract with Chelsea. But you never know - sometimes a challenge is good for a player. I will speak with Peter Kenyon after Euro 2008.
"At Chelsea, there is a new cycle happening so we will see what happens. I have a contract with Chelsea," he said.
Internazionale have announced the former Chelsea and Porto boss as their new manager and speculation has linked him with many Chelsea players.
Both Frank Lampard and Michael Essien have been linked with moves to the champions of Serie A and Mourinho has claimed that "all most all" of Chelsea's players would jump at the chance to join him.
