Chelsea can steal title from United, Terry argues
27/04/2008
Chelsea captain John Terry has maintained that his side can still grab the Premier League title out of the hands of Manchester United.
Coming soon after Blues boss Avram Grant stated that he believes all the pressure is on the champions, the skipper has argued that himself and his team-mates are better prepared for he season conclusion.
"Chelsea can't win it? Let us see. Don't bet against us," the player told the Daily Star.
"We are confident we can win our next two games. Are they?
"We are fired-up, breathing down their necks. Their title can't be won now until the final day of the season and we showed why our home record is magnificent."
While Chelsea have to travel Newcastle before hosting Bolton at Stamford Bridge, United's remaining fixtures see them take on West Ham at home and Wigan away.
Sir Alex Ferguson's team currently top the table on goal difference alone after Saturday's dramatic 2-1 defeat to the London club.
Both sides are also likely to be confident going into their respective
Champions League games this week, having earned crucial away draws, and could face another title showdown in Moscow in May.
