Germany picks up fencing gold double

Germany has won two fencing gold medals this afternoon.

Benjamin Kleibrink won the men's individual foil, while Britta Heidemann was victorious in the women's epee.

Kleibrink defeated Japanese fencer Yuki Ota on the final of the men's competition, with Italy's Salvatore Sanzo picking up the bronze medal.

Heidemann beat Romania's Ana Maria Branza to claim the gold in the women's epee.

And Ildiko Dr Mincza-Nebald of Hungary claimed the bronze.ADNFCR-8000014-ID-18730265-ADNFCR
