Italy warm up for Euro 2008 with win against Belgium

World champions Italy warmed up for Euro 2008 with a 3-1 win against Belgium.
The Azzurri were 2-0 up at the break thanks to a brace from Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale.
Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi scored the third for Roberto Donadoni's men while Wesley Sonk netted a consolation for the visitors.
Next up for Italy is a clash against Holland in the opening game of group C in the European Championships on June 9th in Berne.
Elsewhere, Euro 2008 co-hosts Switzerland defeated Liechtenstein 3-0 thanks to a brace from skipper Alexander Frei.
Borussia Dortmund striker Frei netted two goals in the first half hour while Johan Vonlanthen scored the third on 68 minutes.
Switzerland open their Euro 2008 campaign against the Czech Republic on Saturday 7th in Basle.
Elsewhere, Ronald Linz grabbed a brace as Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria thumped Malta 5-1.
Rene Aufhauser, Ivica Vastic, and Martin Harnik also netted for the hosts while Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud scored a consolation for Malta.
Josef Hickersberger's side kick-off their Euro 2008 campaign against England's nemesis, Croatia, on June 8th in Vienna.
Elsewhere, Latvia defeated Estonia 1-0 in a friendly in Jurmala.
