Robinson signs new Baggies deal
28/08/2008
West Bromwich Albion left-back Paul Robinson has signed a new two-year extension to his current contract.
The improved deal for the former captain, 29, includes a one-year option for the club and ties him to the Hawthorns until at least 2011.
A brief statement on the Baggies' official website today reads: "Albion have been boosted by the news Paul Robinson has today signed a new Hawthorns contract.
"The Baggies left-back has penned a two-year deal, plus a further year's option in the club's favour."
Robinson signed a three-year contract in 2006, which was his third season at the club since joining from Watford in October 2003 for an initial fee of £250,000.
