28/08/2008
A Lebanese army helicopter has had to make an emergency landing in the country's south after coming under fire.
Army officials said one officer died in the incident, which took place during manoeuvres at the village of Sejoud.
The area in question is 20km from the Israeli border, where in 2006 Hizbullah fighters fought a 33-day long conflict with the Jewish state.
