Manchester date added to Take That tour
15/12/2005
'Legendary' Manchester boy band Take That will play an extra gig on their sell-out tour, with tickets for a date at the City of Manchester Stadium going on sale tomorrow.
Take That mania has again swept across the nation ten years after the boys from Manchester went their separate ways.
Now, tickets for their gigs across the UK are changing hands on internet auction sites for £500 a pair.
The stadium gig at the City of Manchester takes place on Saturday, June 17th, with one of pop's top girl bands the Sugababes supporting Take That on the night.
Manchester's gig is one of a final three huge performances, which culminates in the end show at Wembley Stadium on June 24th.
And former Take That member Robbie Williams is rumoured to make an appearance in London.
Gary Barlow said: "A couple of the lads have spoken to Robbie since we announced the tour and he's delighted for us.
"The offer is there to join us on stage and it's not been a 'no' from him. It would be great if he could make the final show at Wembley."
