Britney: What was I thinking?
10/10/2008
Britney Spears has expressed dismay at her own erratic behaviour during the last few years.
Now apparently back to full health, the popstar went through a series of personal disasters including losing custody of her children and control of her estate, as well as numerous hospital visits and famously shaving off her hair.
Speaking to MTV, Britney said she now regrets the way she acted.
"I sit there and I look back and I'm like, 'I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?'"
"I've been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there's a lot that people don't know."
The 90-minute special, Britney: For the Record is due to be aired on November 30th and will reportedly feature behind-the-scenes footage of the singer.
Britney says she hoped the programme will "set the record set" about her personnel life.
The 26-year-old is currently promoting her new album, Circus, due to be released in the US on December 2nd, her birthday.
