Coldplay stay atop US album chart for second week

Coldplay have remained at the top of the US album chart for a second week, it has been confirmed.
The four-piece's new album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends sold some 249,000 copies in the US last week, according to Nielsen Soundscan, to again hold off the challenge of Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III.
The rapper sold some 209,000 units to stay in second place in the Billboard 200 while the Jonas Brothers' soundtrack to Disney film Camp Rock has remained in third place.
The highest new entry came from Motley Crue's Saints of Los Angeles, at four, the hard-living rock band's first album with the original lineup in 11 years.
And Oscar-winning hip-hop troupe Three 6 Mafia entered at five with new album Last 2 Walk.
