Guns N' Roses 'announce release date for new album'
10/10/2008
Guns N Roses' new album Chinese Democracy will be released next month, reports suggest.
Speculation on the internet suggests that the follow-up to 1993's The Spaghetti Incident? will hit the shelves on the November 23rd in the US, the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
The potential release date would give the record seven days before entering the Billboard chart.
The Hits Daily Double website reported the news today but the band's label Interscope has not yet confirmed the news.
The band achieved worldwide notoriety in the 1980s and 1990s after the release of the hugely successful albums Appetite for Destruction, G N' R Lies and Use Your Illusion I and II.
In March, reports suggested that Dr Pepper had offered a free can of the drink to everyone in America, except the band's former guitarists Saul 'Slash' Hudson and Brian Carroll, if Chinese Democracy was released in 2008.
