Killers announce 2009 UK tour plans

The Killers have unveiled a high-profile tour of UK venues in 2009, including two dates at London's O2 Arena.
The 12-date series of concerts will be the Las Vegas quartet's biggest British arena shows to date, starting in Dublin and concluding at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
Brandon Flowers and friends' new album Day & Age, the band's third, is released on November 24th and will be showcased on BBC Radio 1 with a special London show.
Fans can tune into Zane Lowe's programme to hear the entirety of the foursome's Royal Albert Hall gig on November 3rd.
And the band will later take in Ireland, Northern Ireland, England and Scotland in February and March.
The Killers' 2009 tour dates are:
Dublin O2 - February 20th
Belfast Odyssey Arena - 21st
London O2 Arena - 23rd, 24th
Birmingham LG Arena - 26th
Cardiff Arena - 28th
Sheffield Arena - March 2nd
Nottingham Arena - 3rd
Aberdeen AECC Arena - 5th
Glasgow SECC - 6th
Newcastle Arena - 7th
Manchester MEN Arena - 9th
Tickets go on sale at 10:00 BST on Friday October 10th.
