Andre rejects 'bad patch' suggestions

Peter Andre has dismissed speculation that his marriage to glamour model Katie Price may be going through a bit of a bad patch.

After giving birth to little Princess Tiaamii earlier this year, Price has been photographed at a number of trendy nightspots in London looking like she is having a thoroughly excellent time.

By contrast Andre has been out of town – in Cyprus, in fact – getting a delightfully pink holiday home ready for the impending arrival of Price, aka Jordan, and their children.

"These stories saying Jordan is taking her wedding ring off because our relationship is in trouble hurt," Andre told the Daily Star newspaper.

"Because Kate has been out having a great time with her pals while I'm here in Cyprus, people have jumped to the wrong conclusions."

Making his point completely clear, he added: "I can tell you we are the strongest couple around and I love her very much. Nothing will change that, I can assure you."

It has been a difficult year for Andre, who suffered a bout of meningitis in late April and early May.

Fortunately his illness did not prevent him from coming up with the inspiration for his second daughter's middle name, Tiaamii – a combination of his and Price's mother's first names, Thea and Amy.
