Bulls agree terms with Crossley
02/10/2008
Prop forward Steve Crossley has signed a two-year full-time contract with Bradford Bulls to keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2010 season.
The 18-year-old agreed terms on his first professional deal this week with a view to playing for the first XIII in Super League next year.
Crossley was named player of the tour for the England academy in Australia this year and also scooped the coaches player of the year at the club awards last month.
And Bulls coach Steve McNamara said: "We're delighted that Steve has agreed this new contract with the club.
"He has made great progress since he came to the Bulls and we feel he has a tremendous future in the game.
"He was outstanding on the academy tour to Australia and throughout the season in our academy side."
McNamara added: "It was always our priority to retain the players who we thought would have the best chance of progressing in a full-time environment and I am delighted we have managed to do that."
