Bulls continue march up table after sinking Warriors

27/04/2008

Bradford have gone above Wigan in Super League after a 26-12 win over the Warriors at Odsal.

The Bulls, who led by 14 points at the break, were led to victory by tries from Semi Tadulala, Shontayne Hape, Ben Jeffries, and James Evans while Paul Deacon kicked five goals.

Pat Richards scored a try and two penalties while Phil Bailey crossed the line in the dying minutes for the visitors.

The defeat for the Warriors sees them slip to fifth place in the table while the 2005 champions climb to fourth spot.

Elsewhere, Hull defeated Huddersfield 28-20 in the relegation battle at the KC Stadium.

The home side, who led 18-8 at the break, touched down through Craig Hall, Danny Washbrook, and a brace from Todd Bryne.

Danny Tickle scored the last try and also kicked four goals to continue his sizzling form for Hull.

The Giants crashed over twice thanks to Luke Robinson, Steve Snitch, and Paul Whaturia. They scored four goals through Leroy Cudjoe and a hat-trick from Tom Hemingway.

Hull are now in ninth position where they replace the Giants who slip into tenth position. ADNFCR-8000014-ID-18569487-ADNFCR
