GB name strong third Test squad
07/11/2007
Great Britain head coach Tony Smith has named David Hodgson and Jamie Jones-Buchanan in his 20-man squad for the third Test against New Zealand.
Huddersfield Giants winger Hodgson and Leeds Rhinos second row Jones-Buchanan are named in a Lions squad for the first time in the three-match series.
Smith is hoping to give some of the players who have yet to feature in the series a run-out, since this weekend's result is largely academic.
Great Britain established an unassailable 2-0 series lead in the second match against the Kiwis at Hull's KC Stadium last weekend with a thumping 44-0 win, which secured a first series victory for the Lions since 1993.
Saturday's game concludes the series at Wigan's JJB Stadium and the squad again features Hull FC's Kirk Yeaman, who was included for the first time in the squad for the second Test.
Captain Jamie Peacock is again included, along with several others who have excelled in the series so far.
Star winger and double try-scorer from the second match, Leon Pryce, is named along with Gareth Raynor, who has crossed the whitewash in both matches so far.
