Last-gasp Bradford win
13/04/2006
Bradford Bulls snatched a last minute win in a pulsating 20-18 clash with Leeds Rhinos at Headingley.
Brian Noble got a perfect send off as he looks likely to join Wigan Warriors in the next week.
The brilliant match lurched from one side to the other. Leeds looked to have won the game after taking an early lead before Bradford roared back into the fixture.
Leeds then scored what looked to be a decisive penalty, but Bradford had the final say crashing over the line at the end.
Gareth Ellis and Rob Burrow grabbed tries either side of the interval for the Leeds Rhinos to give them the lead, after Stanley Gene had given Bradford an early lead.
Iestyn Harris and Marcus Bai scored within four minutes of each other against their former club Leeds to bring Bradford back into the game.
The dramatic brace did not dent the ambitions of the Rhinos who regained the lead with a Richie Mathers try and a Danny McGuire penalty.
The game looked to be over before Brett Ferres dived over the line in a dramatic final twist to the game to give the points to Bradford.
