Rhinos set-up showdown with Saints
05/10/2007
Leeds will clash with St Helens in Super League's grand final after beating Wigan 36-6 at Headingley.
The Rhinos, who lost 10-8 to the Saints last week, clinched their place at Old Trafford at the second time of asking after a dominant display.
Leeds made an explosive start to the final eliminator and led 16-0 at the break.
A penalty from Kevin Sinfield on 12 minutes was followed by tries from Brent Webb and Ali Lauitiiti.
The Rhinos, who had suffered defeats to the Warriors this season, sealed the rout in the second half with New Zealander Webb grabbing his second while Burrow crashed over twice.
The Warriors, who were billed as the underdogs despite winning their last five matches, had briefly threatened a comeback.
Trent Barrett set-up Pat Richards who scored a converted try on the hour mark to leave the Warriors trailing by ten points.
But Sinfield continued his devastating kicking form with two drop-goals to add to his seven goals.
Barrett pulled a hamstring and Gareth Hock was put on report for a dangerous tackle on Matt Diskin in the closing stages, before Burrow's try sealed victory.
