13/06/2007

Wigan and St Helens have avoided a semi-final in the Challenge Cup after being drawn apart today.

The Saints will face the Bradford Bulls while Wigan will take on French side Carnegie Dragons.

All of the ties will be played on neutral venues on Saturday July 28th and Sunday 29th, although no venues have yet been confirmed.

The draw took place at the new Wembley Stadium, where the two semi-finals will meet each other on August 25th.

Wigan secured their passage through to the semis with a 25-6 win over 12-man Harlequins.
