Duo return for England
13/02/2007
England head coach Brian Ashton has recalled Olly Morgan and Joe Worsley for the February 24th Six Nations match with Ireland.
The return of the Gloucester full-back and London Wasps flanker mean England will start the Croke Park match with an identical line-up to the one that defeated Scotland 42-20 earlier this month.
Morgan, 23, replaces Iain Balshaw after his club tea-mate failed to recovery fully from a groin injury.
Explaining his other selection decision, Ashton said: "Joe Worsley has recovered from his neck injury and reclaims the number six shirt just ahead of Nick Easter, who I thought had a very good debut for England against Italy.
"However, Joe's greater experience at this level means that he is selected."
Ashton has named his team ahead of schedule in a bid to encourage Premiership clubs to rest their England stars during a hectic round of weekend fixtures.
