Gloucester continue perfect start

Gloucester continued their perfect start to their Heineken Cup campaign with a 31-7 thumping of Bourgoin at the Stade Pierre Rajon.

The Guinness Premiership side led 17-0 at the break thanks to tries from Anthony Allen and James Simpson-Daniel.

Ryan Lamb and Andy Titterrell crashed over in the second half to secure a bonus point for the visitors.

Julien Frier scored the consolation try for Bourgoin, who slip to third place in pool two.

Gloucester continue to lead pool two with four wins from four games.
Elsewhere, Welsh side Ospreys crushed Ulster 48-17 at the Liberty Stadium.

Ospreys, without the injured Gavin Henson, were 15-3 ahead at the break with Sonny Parker and Justin Marshall touching down.

Alun Wyn Jones, Filo Tiatia, Lee Byrne, and a brace from Nikki Walker sealed the rout.

Fly-half James Hook booted over five conversions and two penalties for the home side.

Irish strugglers Ulster crossed the line twice through Isaac Boss and Simon Danielli, while Paddy Wallace kicked seven points.

The result sees the Ospreys move into second place in pool two while Ulster languish at the bottom.

Elsewhere, Leinster beat Edinburgh 28-14 at Donnybrook.

The Irish side, who led 18-3 at the break, were led by tries from Jamie Heaslip, Keith Gleeson, and Felipe Contepomi.

Argentine Contepomi also kicked three penalties and two conversions for the home side.

The win for Leinster puts them top of pool four while Edinburgh remain bottom.
