Hair Bears return for Wales

07/02/2007

Instantly recognisable front row duo Duncan and Adam Jones have been recalled to the starting line-up for Wales' Six Nations clash with Scotland.

Also coming in alongside the Osprey duo known as the Hair Bears is Cardiff Blues' Robert Sidoli, who replaces bench-bound Ian Gough of Newport Dragons.

And the last of four changes as coach Gareth Jenkins shuffles his pack sees Llanelli Scarlets' Mark Jones comes in for injured Hal Luscombe at wing.

Jenkins insists the other two benched players, namely Chris Horsman and namesake Gethin Jenkins, still have a role to play in Wales' Six Nations campaign.

"We've kept most of the back-line that faced Ireland and given them the chance to add a more clinical edge to what they achieved last weekend, with Mark Jones as the only change providing a welcome boost in Hal's absence," the coach said.

Wales lost 19-9 to Ireland at the Millennium Stadium last week and Jenkins says that he will be expecting his players to build on the positive points of their performance to "get our Six Nations trophy challenge back on track".
