Jones hails Wales' improvement after making 'Boks sweat
14/06/2008
Wales captain Ryan Jones praised his side's improved display in their 37-21 defeat to South Africa.
The Dragons lose the series against the Springboks 2-0 despite going ahead three times in Pretoria.
The highlight of their tour will undoubtedly be Shane Williams' stunning 43rd international try, after he weaved past five players to score in the corner in the first half.
Jean de Villiers and Ricky Januarie and a brace from Jean de Villiers helped the home side to victory, with Gareth Cooper and Williams replying for the Grand Slam champions.
Butch James produced a kicking masterclass for the southern hemisphere giants with four conversions and three penalties.
Jones said it had been a tough week for his side after last weekend's 43-17 thumping by the world champions in Bloemfontein.
"I think we've done ourselves justice. We've come out here and I think we've gone a long way to turning it around in a week," Jones told Sky Sports.
"It's been two fantastic Tests for us. We've had a great two weeks here in South Africa."
