One change for happy Hadden
20/02/2007
Scotland have made just one change to their starting XV to face Italy in the Six Nations at Murrayfield on Saturday.
Head coach Frank Hadden said he was pleased with the performance of his players after the 21-9 victory over Wales, a sentiment borne out in his team selection for Saturday's game.
Perpignan forward Nathan Hines comes in at lock for Leicester's Jim Hamilton in the solitary change for the Scots' third match in this year's competition in a move which is designed to combat the Italians' strength up front, which Hadden described as "formidable".
Hines, who will win his 40th cap, will partner veteran Scott Murray in the second row. The Edinburgh man will win his 82nd cap, equalling legendary back Gregor Townsend's record haul.
On the bench, Andrew Henderson replaces the injured Simon Webster who has been ruled out with an ankle injury that he suffered during Edinburgh's Magners League defeat to Leinster last Friday.
Scotland will be looking to build on the victory over Wales after a bad day at the office led to their opening-day 42-21 reverse at Twickenham against rivals England.
