Baby girl for Myleene

TV star Myleene Klass has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

The baby, which came three weeks early, weighs 2.5kgs and both mother and daughter are said to be healthy.

Her representative said: "Myleene had a problem-free labour, and mother and baby are doing well.

"She and Graham are ecstatic. The baby is named Ava Quinn."

The 29-year-old presenter complained of feeling a "bit weird" after presenting the BBC's One Show and was taken to hospital soon later.

"Myleene presented The One Show and felt a bit weird on the way home. She went to the hospital to get checked out and they told her she was in labour," her spokesperson added.

"The birth went very smoothly and all is well, but her stint on the show is obviously over."

Klass is engaged to Graham Quinn, whom she met while in the band Hear'Say.

The star will be replaced by Christine Bleakley on The One Show.
