Big Brother 9 Rex worried about break from Nicole

Big Brother 9 contestant Rex Newmark has let his insecurities show by quizzing girlfriend Nicole about her time outside the house.

Nicole, a 19-year-old student from Surrey, only entered the house on Friday August 1st, some 58 days into the ninth series of the Channel 4 reality show.

And Rex, her boyfriend of one year, has revealed he is uncertain about his other half's fidelity, after grilling her about her time and behaviour while she was outside the Big Brother house.

Nicole, who met Rex at last year's Notting Hill Carnival, refused to answer, saying she was fearful of getting in trouble with Big Brother, who still has her suitcase.

"You should know me anyway," she added.

Mikey Hughes attempted to placate Rex, telling the chef it was clear Nicole had not misbehaved as she would not have come on the show if that were the case.

However, Rex continued to sulk.

Speaking in the diary room being a couple in the house, Nicole described the experience as "exciting, different and a challenge".

However, she added: "I don't want to be just known as Rex's girlfriend in the house. I want to be known as Nicole. I'm proud to be his girlfriend but I'm also Nicole".

Later that day Rex refused to let his suspicion subside, again asking Nicole if he would be happy with her behaviour outside the house.

She replied with a sigh: "You should know. I'm not horrible."
