Franks exits I'm a Celebrity
24/11/2007
PR guru Lynne Franks has become the third contestant to be voted off I'm a Celebrity
Get Me Out of Here!
The 59-year-old leaves the show after 14 days in the Australian jungle, where she took part in two infamous Bushtucker trials.
After losing out to former Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews in the public vote, Franks said she was "so ready to go".
"It's time to get clean - you know: clean hair, clean fingernails, clean underwear and have a bath," she told presenter Ant and Dec.
Franks, who said she hoped former Hollyoaks pin-up Gemma Atkinson would win, also took time to slate I'm a Celebrity foe Janice Dickinson.
"This was so much harder than I ever expected," she explained. "Animals in this jungle take human form.
"Janice Dickinson if I never see her again as long as I live, that will be fine. The thing that I can't bear is that she's two-faced and plays up to the cameras."
