Big Brother's housemates enjoyed a cider-dominated reward after demonstrating their startling grasp of the English language.

The ten remaining housemates were asked to turn the thesaurus part of their brain into full gear for the task, which took place in the diary room.

The twins did extremely well with their word, 'attractive', coming up with "hotty", "fitty", "beautiful" and "dead gorge".

And Brian demonstrated his tact and gentle grace by giving alternative descriptions to the word 'female' including "missus", "lady garden" and "breasts".

But many of the housemates struggled to get beyond even half a dozen words, with Ziggy stumped by 'ugly', Carole baffled by 'clean' and Jonty straining to get beyond "botty" for 'bottom'.

It was Liam who emerged as the Big Brother-endorsed Master Cunning Linguist, however, excelling himself when presented with 'breasts'.

Among his nuggets were "baps", "wangers", "bazookas" and the excellent "Mount Everbreast".

He was rewarded for his enormous vocabulary with a special meal of burger and chips.
