Liam relieved by Amy exit
11/08/2007
Amy was evicted from the Big Brother house last night after receiving 58 per cent of the public's vote.
It was clear from the boos of the crowd beforehand who would have justified packing their bags as Amy's rivals, Amanda and Sam, Kara-Louise and Jonty, never looked like attracting the wrath of this series' especially vengeful crowd.
When she finally emerged from the house, defiantly sticking her tongue out at what could have been a baying mob, Amy was instead met with what could definitely be called a mixed reception.
She was able to strut her stuff in front of the photographers without flicking an eyelid to the booing contingent, before being led off to admit her disappointment afterwards.
Inside the house her on-off romantic interest, Liam, was busy expressing relief that the twins, and not his glamour model gal, had survived the public vote.
"You wanted to go, but all I was interested in was you staying really
I just wanna sellotape youse together and bite your kneecaps off," he told them in his trademark affectionate style.
Outside the house Amy was also downplaying the significance of their relationship.
"It was just a bit of fun, nothing serious," she said.
"I was trying to make my place in the rest of the group and I needed him to help me with that and he kinda made it worse."
