Logan's ludicrous Strictly exit
28/10/2007
Gabby Logan's Strictly Come Dancing campaign came to a premature end after she and Penny Lancaster Stewart received the least votes from the public.
The BBC Sport presenter and former gymnast became the fourth celebrity to leave the show after a dance-off with the wife of rocker Rod Stewart and was told by judge Bruno Tonioli that she had "the grace of a vacuum cleaner".
Head judge Len Goodman praised Logan's efforts, but said she needed more "bounce action".
Though he's received far lower scores throughout the show, Logan's husband Kenny, the former Scotland rugby union star, is still in the series.
Gabby Logan, 36-year-old presenter of Inside Sport, married rugby player Kenny in 2001 and had twins in 2005.
Gabby Logan's exit came on a successful evening for Strictly Come Dancing, beating ITV1's the X-Factor, according to BARB data figures.
The BBC1 show achieved an average of 7.9 million viewers and a 37.1 per cent audience share with a peak audience of 8.7 million, while the X-Factor grabbed just 7.1 million viewers and a 33.1 per cent share.
Though the ITV1 show achieved a 9.3 million peak audience, this was after BBC1's popular dance show had ended for the night.
