Lost star handed driving ban
13/09/2008
One of the stars of hit US TV show Lost, Daniel Dae Kim, has been banned from driving for six months after being convicted of drink-driving.
The actor, 40, pleaded guilty after being found with twice the legal limit of alcohol in his bloodstream after being pulled over by police in Honolulu, Hawaii, last October.
In addition to his driving ban, Kim must also pay a combined fine and legal fee of $712 (£398) and complete 72 hours of community service.
Outside the court, Kim told the Associated Press news agency he was "grateful and relieved" to have the matter dealt with, saying it had been "a pretty difficult time for my family and me".
"I'm glad I had a chance to take responsibility for my mistake," he added.
