Lynne endures Tunnel of Terror

PR guru Lynne Franks was forced to struggle through a very unpleasant Bushtucker Trial in the new series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Lynne – rumoured to be the inspiration for Jennifer Saunders' Edina in Absolutely Fabulous – crawled through the Tunnel of Terror, filled with insects, snakes, eels and rats, to win five stars for the camp.

She was given ten minutes to climb down a manhole into a tunnel and look for the stars in 11 small pipes, but despite the tunnel filling with flies, worms, spiders, rats, toads and scorpions, she battled through to emerge victorious

When asked if she'd been scared in the tunnel, Lynne said: "Absolutely every phobia that anybody could ever have been waiting down there and I know they were hurting me but I just had to focus on the stars, you've just got to go and get the job done.

"The sh*t's down there but so what? I can go and wash in the shower and wipe and it's bloody crap and diarrhoea, shit, scorpions, snakes, rats."

She added: "Thanks guys, I won't give you a hug and a kiss. Ooh I stink."

Meanwhile Gemma Atkinson and Jason 'J' Brown confided in each other about changing attitudes in the camp with 'J' particularly unimpressed with Janice Dickinson's continually domineering behaviour.

"I have never heard one person chat so much about themselves in my life," the former 5ive member said. "I didn't think it was possible to have such wrong opinions about everyone and everything at the same time as that woman."

And Rodney Marsh has earned immunity from tomorrow night's eviction after beating Janice, Lynne and Christopher Biggins in the daily Bush Battle challenge.
