Pinkham dances off ice
21/01/2008
Natalie Pinkham has become the second celebrity to be voted off the new series of Dancing On Ice.
The TV presenter and her partner Andre found themselves up against former Blue Peter man Tim Vincent in the bottom two, with the judging panel choosing to save Tim.
After her eviction, a chirpy Natalie said: "Honestly I've had the best time. The guys are the best and everyone says it but it's true."
Natalie and Andre had danced to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, but found themselves in the bottom two after the judges awarded them just 14 points.
Jason Gardiner was typically harsh, awarding the pair 2.5 points and saying the performance had been "disappointing".
He added: "Your arms are like an old-fashioned scale always tipped off balance and I found that with the lift, if it wasn't for Andres strength you wouldn't have gone up there. It looks like someone has Velcro-ed you onto him!"
Tim and his partner Victoria had danced to The Police's Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, scoring 16 points from the judges, with skating legend Robin Cousins saying Tim was "a completely different person" in comparison with last week's performance.
West End great Ruthie Henshall added: "I loved the risks you took but what I would say is watch your shoulders. You dance with those a bit and you need to get a little but more uplift in your body it rocks up and down at the minute."
Greg Rusedki and How Clean Is Your House? star Aggie Mackenzie were both fortunate to miss out on the bottom two, scoring just 11.5 and ten respectively while Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain remains the show favourite after scoring 20.
Former Hear'say singer Suzanne Shaw and partner Matt topped the show leader board last night after scoring 20.5 for their dance to When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne.
