Strictly 'heartbreak'

30/12/2007

Strictly Come Dancing's Matt di Angelo has not just been wowing the judges with his moves.

It appears the EastEnders star's smouldering performances have whisked away the heart of his professional dance partner on the show, 27-year-old Flavia Cacace.

Flavia's long-term boyfriend and fellow Strictly professional Vincent Simone, 29, has spoken out about their relationship, describing his "angry and upset" feelings.

Vincent confronted her at the after-show party where, he claims, she admitted "feelings" for 20-year-old Di Angelo.

"When she and Matt went off to cosy up on a sofa in the corner together, that was it," he said.

"She cried and told me she'd fallen for him. I know what we have is special and lasting so I just hope that if I give her some space, things will fizzle out between them."

But Vincent is concerned he may not be able to cope with the emotional strain of seeing them together on the Strictly Come Dancing tour, which begins next month.

"I'm suffering every single day that I'm not with her and to see her with Matt on and off the dancefloor will be unbearable," he added.

Matt and Flavia were runners-up in this year's competition to Alesha Dixon and Matthew Cutler.ADNFCR-8000014-ID-18408589-ADNFCR
