Ugly cameo for Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham's rumoured cameo appearance on Ugly Betty has been officially confirmed.

The former Spice Girl, who has recently become a stateside sensation after husband David Beckham switched from Real Madrid to LA Galaxy, will feature in an episode of the popular US television show's second series.

Posh Spice's cameo will involve a wedding dress in a wedding-themed episode, series producer Marco Pennette has revealed.

He has jokingly requested that David join Victoria on set, saying this is "one of the requirements" of her appearance on the show.

At least one member of the cast is getting excited by the prospect of Posh joining her on screen.

Becki Newton believes her character, receptionist Amanda, will not get on with Beckham.

"Amanda is going to be like: 'I'm not standing next to Posh because she's too skinny. She's gonna make me look fat.' Amanda's gonna take her down," she said.
