I want everything Venus has, says Serena Williams

Serena Williams has warned her older sister Venus that she will be going all out for victory when the pair face each other in the Wimbledon final.

Four-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams beat Elena Dementieva 6-1 7-6 (7-3) in the first semi-final, while Serena overcame Zheng Jie 6-2 7-6 (7-5) later in the day to setup the third all-Williams Wimbledon final.

Serena has beaten Venus in both previous time the pair met in the final of the biggest tournament in the game, and the 26-year-old has no plans to make it third time lucky for her older sister.

"It's easy with sibling rivalry - I want everything Venus has, and plus we're good at this now - we just leave everything out on the court. Who doesn't want to win - this is Wimbledon," said Serena.

"Venus is a tough opponent, probably the toughest I've played. I've had a classic final against her in the Australian Open - three very hard sets - and also the US Open was very high-quality tennis."

Some critics have speculated that the result of an all-Williams final is predetermined by their father Richard.

Venus was less than pleased when that question was put to her at a press conference today, replying "I'm extremely professional in everything that I do. So any mention of that is extremely disrespectful to who I am, what I stand for, and my family".
