Sahin seals Turkey's first gold

Turkey have won their first gold medal of the 2008 Beijing Olympics after Ramazan Sahin emerged victorious from the final of the men's 66kg freestyle wrestling event.

Sahin beat Ukraine's Andriy Stadnik 2-1 to secure his country's first win of the Games, with Otar Tushishvili of Georgia and India's Sushil Kumar taking the bronze medals on offer.

In the men's 74kg freestyle wrestling final, Russia's Buvaysa Saytiev beat Soslan Tigiev of Uzbekistan to claim gold with a 3-1 victory.

Belarus' Murad Gaidarov grabbed one of the two bronzes after beating Gheorqhita Stefan of Romania in two periods 2-1, 3-1.

And Kiril Terziev of Bulgaria scooped the other bronze medal with a similar two-period victory over Cuba's Ivan Fundora.ADNFCR-8000014-ID-18741004-ADNFCR
