Ben Hall was born in Stockport in 1978 and has lived in the area ever since. He became a freelance wildlife photographer in 2002 and since then, Ben hasn't looked back.
His photographs are now sold worldwide through his agencies; Getty Images, RSPB Images and Alamy.
He also writes regular columns for many of the best-known photographic, natural history and country magazines. And to share his passion, he holds regular wildlife photography workshops for groups and individuals all over the country. Beginning later this year, he will be leading photographic tours to Patagonia, an area that Ben feels in one of nature's last true wildernesses.

An exhibition of Ben's work "Wild Britain" can be seen at The Manchester Museum until August 2007
